First of all, we welcomed two new students today, Ayaka and Carlos. Be sure to say "hi" and introduce yourself if you don't already know them (although they seem to know everybody already)!
I mentioned the website anki.com. There's a video about how to use anki on Youtube. If you find it difficult to use anki, try listening to that. You can ask me, although I am not an expert at it.
Of course, first you have to download Anki2.0 It's a great way to study English vocabulary, so I hope you'll try it.
Oh, by the way, here is the TED talk we saw on Monday: David Mackay on Renewables.
Finally, here is the homework. We're studying Units 7 and 8 this week. The homework due tomorrow is Exercise 1 (p138) and Exercise 2 (p139). It is advisable that you do Exercise one on paper, but essential that you do Exercise on paper to hand in.
