Weekend Homework, Study Sheet

Sorry to be late, but here's the weekend homework, study sheet, and information about the essay.

Thanks, Ayaka, for a quick tour of one of the world's most exciting cities, Tokyo.  It made me miss Japan!

Please do Exercise 15 on page 255 of Grammar Dimensions as well as Exercise 16 on page 257.  We'll check them before the test.

Essay

Also, let's do some writing putting into use the grammar that we've learned this week.  Write a 300 (at least) word essay on the topic of "Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda" like the essay on page 245, Exercise 2.  Write about yourself, your country, your school, or anything you think could have been done better.  This assignment is, of course, an essay, so please write in essay form with an introductory paragraph, body paragraphs and a conclusion.  Be sure to check it for grammar, spelling, and coherence before you hand it in, which you will have done by Tuesday moring at the latest.  You can give me a copy or send it to my Kaplan email account:

Finally, if you have a chance, watch the Michio Kaku video which I posted on Thursday, as we'll watch it and discuss it after the test on Monday.
