Students who were in class on Friday heard Alain make an announcement about a temporary change of location. On Monday, we will meet in YMCA Room 205 and take the test in the first part of class.
However, in the second part of class we'll all go together to the new location. Unfortunately, it's a bit far. It's situated in the Hilton Hotel on 89 Broad Street in downtown Boston. We'll have to take the T to go there. It's a five minute walk from the State Street Station on the Orange line, and not far from Government Center (Green Line) and Aquarium (Blue Line). We'll be studying there for the next three weeks.
My sincere apologies to the students who moved to the neighborhood around NEU to be closer to your classroom. This is inconvenient for almost all of us, but especially for you. Unfortunately, there just isn't any classroom space available on campus, and it would be impossible for the new students coming in for just a short time to be so far away from the Kaplan NEU offices. We very much appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this, and again, apologize for the inconvenience.
If you don't have a monthly pass, Kaplan will provide you with one. For the students who were out on Friday, please let us know as soon as possible if you do need one; email me at jfzkaplan13@yahoo.com and I'll forward the information to Alain.
If you have any Specific Skills classes, you can take them at the Broad Street location. You may have different teachers or topics and can choose from any of the classes which are being held. Maybe you'd like to try mine? I have a specific skills class on Tuesday and Thursday from 11:20 to 12: 50!
Again, thanks so much for putting up with this. It will be a bit inconvenient, but the space itself is very nice and modern--and the AC is much better there! It'll be a chance to get acquainted with another area of Boston. Maybe we can take the opportunity to go outside and explore a bit.
If you have any questions, write me an email or contact the Kaplan offices. Thanks.
